Settling the Mud: EFT, Parts, & More
"Do you have the patience to wait until your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving until the right action rises by itself?" ~ LAO TZU

Life is hard. Day to day living wears you out with it's madness. From the early days when we had to keep fires constantly lit to keep beasts from eating our children, to modern "civilized" days when we feel we must constantly do battle with words. But the thing about civilization is that as it grew, the solutions it offered also grew... Civilization can be said to be a reaction to problems and an attempt to create solutions.

The problem is, we get enticed by logic. Surely if we keep thinking about the problem, we can reach the solution. But the reality is, it's just like mud in a pond. The more we think, the more we churn the waters and the muddier the situation seems. However, if we settle ourselves and become still, the mud settles as well. Then we can clearly see the solution in front of ourselves.

Taking tea for me is one way of taking back of my life. No matter how complicated or how simple life is, the ritual of making tea carves out a space where you can be you. Tea both calms and invigorates - it empowers. After a respite, we are now once again ready for action. AND there are also other ways.

I'm an EFT coach who uses a variety of mental health tools - both woo-woo and scientific (and you'd be surprised at how often those are the same) - in order to help settle the mud so that we can live our best lives.
So who am I? I'm Rhiannon M. Bacon. After nearly 20 years of teaching, I decided to focus in on what I truly love about working with people: assisting others to learn new ideas that help them in their lives. I have received Therapeutic Coaching training from The Optimum Health Clinic (completing levels 1 & 2), and I'm working on my official certification in EFT. I regularly attend summits such as the Trauma Super Conference, The Tapping Summit, and courses such as NICABM's Advanced Master Program on the Treatment of Trauma.
